Toshiba CEO Hisao Tanaka
and Vice Chairman Norio Sasaki accused of inflating profit around 152 billion
yen, about three times of company’s estimate. Company stock surged at 6 percent
on Tuesday but director of Japan equity sales said that it was driven by investor
short-covering. While Japan technology analyst at Macquarie said that in the
wake of the scandal, any recommendation on Toshiba shares was primarily wrong.
