Google and NASA Planned to Launch Commercial Lunar Spacecraft
Google and NASA awarded start-up company, Moon
Express with more than $60
million to build commercial spacecraft launches starting
in 2017. Moon Express planned to land in the moon to mine abundant resources like
gold,
cobalt, iron, palladium, platinum, tungsten and Helium-3 (Red Helium-4), some of the materials
that can be used in nuclear power plant. The launching
site of spacecraft could be in Space Launch Complex 36 in Cape Canaveral or
