Google and NASA Planned to Launch Commercial Lunar Spacecraft   


Google and NASA awarded start-up company, Moon Express with more than $60 million to build commercial spacecraft launches starting in 2017. Moon Express planned to land in the moon to mine abundant resources like gold, cobalt, iron, palladium, platinum, tungsten and Helium-3 (Red Helium-4), some of the materials that can be used in nuclear power plant. The launching site of spacecraft could be in Space Launch Complex 36 in Cape Canaveral or Rocket Lab's launch site in New Zealand. (TI01/CB/01/Oct/15)
