Elon Musk Wants to Implant Your Brain into Computer

The latest obsession from Elon Musk is to make people easier to interact their brain with computer. Following his idea he creates a new company called Neuralink. The idea of brain implants was essentially started in 1970’s but it did not develop well. Generally speaking, neuroscience was to help people who has problem with long-term memories because they are damaged but, according to a researcher from University of Southern California, Theodore Berger it could work as well for those without damage even it’s helpful to store and retrieve memories. Similar with Dr Berger, Musk looks ahead optimistically to intertwine an implant with the computer and internet directly. Musk said that his ambition of creating interface between the brain and computation is still five years away and it is still not clear yet whether his commercial approach intended for medical purpose which can be risky or more general practice in the future. Google AI Has Accuracy 95% Predict People Will Die

It’s not something unusual that AI can read abundance of data well but when it comes to prediction, AI might be ranked working beyond human proficiency. To make prediction, a team of researcher from Stanford, the University of Chicago and UC San Francisco have developed Google AI to analyze patient condition in hospital. AI predicts a patient whether will die in hospital after 24 hours admission including how many days will be in the hospital and the possibility of being readmitted with accuracy 95%. It is said that the accuracy could also help doctors to improve medical treatment for patients. Capability of AI to predict related with the process of machine learning that has been running for years. According to researchers, the AI has been taught since 2016 with the 221 adults participants from two US medical centers for analyzing data amount to 46 billion. Data that AI read contains patient’s age, ethnicity and gender. Some other information that support algorithm to analyze like patient’s vital medical history, charts and doctor’s hand written. The US Space Surveillance alone reported about 21,000 space debris objects orbiting the earth including nonfunctional spacecrafts and fragmented scraps. According to Interfax, Russia also develops laser system linked to aircraft, ground control station and radar to find targets. The US Defense expert said that Russia concerned over US satellites that poses a threat to potential confrontation. While in a response to Russia laser development, US Air Force Chief Of Staff General David Goldfein believed that US has got to prepare for fighting from space in a matter of years. How Could We Live Forever?

There has been a lot of people who want to live forever without leaving for their loved family behind. In the past few years, immortality has become discourse and research emerging either in theory or fiction. Today with robust development in AI, genetic engineering, and virtual reality which can be used to store mind, consciousness and memories in computer chips, scientists claim they could help people to live without facing death. Dr Ian Pearson predicted that immortality to become real in 2050. The year that interested individual could start to skirt death but it’s only available for rich people until 2070 the cost affordable for every individual who want to life forever. Elon Musk Might Call Soon the World is Not Enough

The fiction about travelling the earth in a matter of minutes will come to an end if Elon Musk plan for developing the fastest transport system on earth become reality. His success of SpaceX rocket has brought him in unprecedented speed program for transport industry to move far forward. Gwynne Shotwell, the President and Chief Operating Officer at SpaceX said that Elon Musk obsession to develop the fastest transport system to travel on earth in an hour undoubtedly to happen. The transport system basically the same as the rocket used to ferry human on Mars. The long journey with conventional airline from New York to Vancouver which take 15-hours flight would only be 39-minute trip. The price for ticket is in range of an economy or business class airline so you don’t need to worry about it. (TI03/NE/1/June/2018)
