The Latest Technology in Retail  


Besides Amazon, the robotic arm has been used by Ocado in its latest warehouse automation in UK. The development of the operating platform using robots has attracted US giant supermarket, Kroger and some other supermarkets in Europe and Canada. Kroger reported its sales jump more than 50% after Ocado support the retail system which is supposed to be the most sophisticated technology in online groceries. The Ocado’s system still in development and expansion where its Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC) in Hampshire capable of preparing 645,000 orders for online customers while in London as the world largest Automated CFC with 3,500 robots would be able to prepare for 200,000 orders a week.
