Elon Musk Wants to Implant Your Brain into Computer
The latest
obsession from Elon Musk is to make people easier to interact their brain with
computer. Following his idea he creates a new company called Neuralink. The idea
of brain implants was essentially started in 1970’s but it did not develop well.
Generally speaking, neuroscience was to help people who has problem with long-term memories
because they are damaged but, according to a researcher from University of Southern
California, Theodore Berger it could work as well for those without damage even
it’s helpful to store and retrieve memories. Similar with Dr Berger, Musk looks
ahead optimistically to intertwine an implant with the computer and internet
directly. Musk said that his ambition of creating interface
between the brain and computation is still five years away and it is still not
clear yet whether his commercial approach intended for medical purpose which can
