FBI Warns Consumer to
Reset Smart TV
The development of facial recognition has become FBI concern since Smart TV have built-in cameras and device that allow video chat for consumer. The FBI said that cameras on Smart TV could be used by TV to monitor consumer what they were watching and chatting and suggest any program appropriately. But there are far more risky than TV using consumer data base that some hackers have gateway to sneak through router and also might take over your unsecured TV. Hacker may using backdoor gateway to change channel or watching any room through camera and cybertalk to you. FBI suggests the best thing to do is to reset default that was set up prior by the TV, back-to-basic option and change password. (TI02/FN/5/Dec/2019)
