Launching Spacecraft into Space Using Microwaves
Researchers
at Escape Dynamics, Colorado planned to push spacecraft into space with
microwaves instead of using rocket. ED
builds thruster on the ground to beam aircraft which carry hydrogen to push
spacecraft into space. The microwaves on the ground would hit the shield of the
aircraft bottom and would heat hydrogen as it’s coming out from a tank then
push space craft into space. There is safety issue still in consideration as
the microwaves beam from the ground to the distant aircraft in space.
