Moody Rates Malaysia and South Africa in Junk Status


Following Brazil in junk status, Moody rates Malaysia and South Africa in the same status. The other developing countries in the same position including Saudi Arabia, China, Chile and Peru. A strategist at Stockholm SEB, Hammarlund said that emerging countries which depends on commodity trading downgraded their credit risk as commodity price fall sharply. The biggest deficit hits Saudi Arabia in three decades as oil prices down and Bahrain at the same time predicted lead to double shortfall this year. (UP01/BL/24/Sep/15)
